The target application isn't pasting the current PowerPaste clip.

This can theoretically happen if PowerPaste Shield is enabled, and the target application needs advanced notification of clipboard updates.  You've got some new data on the clipboard, but it doesn't know that the new data is there, and circumvents your paste by handing you the old data again.  Your recourse would be to turn off the PowerPaste shield.

If you have found such an application, please notify support@thornsoft.com and we'll add it here.

Currently, we've identified these applications as having trouble with the PowerPaste Shield:

  • Windows Terminal Services - won't know about the new clip if PowerPaste Shield is enabled.
